Punta Prima is the most Northerly town on the south eastern stretch of Spanish coastline known as the Orihuela Costa. A well known holiday resort, Punta Prima has in recent years been capitalising on its popularity.

This can especially be seen in the large newly built urbanisation of Punta Marina which houses a large array of luxury apartments for sale with a wide range of facilities. The town itself it has a lot going for it with regards to providing for its many visitors. Alongside the usual seaside activities such as sailing, diving and fishing there is also a very popular go-karting track which attracts visitors from around the coast and has both small karts for kids as well as more high powered machines for the adults, and a recently built kiddie park for those not quite yet into the excitement of racing.

A little further afield, Punta Prima's neighbouring towns provide other activities, the aqua park at Torrevieja is always a winner with the kids, and being the large modern town it is, also has its own huge array of shops bars and restaurants and is only a five to ten minute drive or thirty minute walk north along the coast. Alternatively a pleasant fifteen minute stroll south along the coastal path will bring you to the town of Playa Flamenca which has a renowned Saturday market where you can buy all the necessities, souvenirs and presents you desire.
