Buying Property in Campoamor

Dehesa de Campoamor usually known simply as Campoamor, is situated towards the southern end of the Costa Blanca and between the towns of Cabo Roig to the north and Mil Palmeras to the south. A particular favourite with holidaymakers & property buyers Campoamor is not as populated as many of the towns along the Costa Blanca. A huge attraction and perhaps what Campoamor is best known for is its championship golf course, Las Ramblas, and adjoining resort which features a very fine hotel, sports facilities and restaurant as well as a residential property developments of villas, houses and apartments.

The town of Campoamor itself although not having a town centre as such does have a shopping centre where all the usual living needs can be obtained, plenty of cafes and restaurants from which to sample both the local and international cuisine and a wealth of bars to keep you entertained after your evening meal. During the day there are three stunning blue flag beaches which are raked and cleaned on a daily basis and where you can enjoy all the usually seaside activities including fishing, windsurfing, scuba diving and jet skiing. Campoamor also has a superb and widely used marina where many excellent yachts can be found and an attached restaurant, plenty of sports facilities and even a horse riding school.

There is also plenty of coastline to wander along and a coastal path that will bring you all the way to the neighbouring town of Cabo Roig. If you wish to travel further afield the large and modern town of Torrevieja is just a fifteen minute drive north with the coastal areas of La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima lying in between. An excellent location for the international traveller Campoamor is just 20 minutes north of San Javier airport and about an hour from Alicante airport.

There are a number of recent property developments around Campoamor, including La Colinas which is part of the golf resort, and as a result there are plenty of self catering accommodation as well as a number of hotels. It is mainly on these newer developments that most of the currently purchasable property can be found.
